How it works
- Step pulleys: A cone pulley is also known as a step pulley and consists of multiple grooves, usually three to five.
- Speed control: By manually shifting the belt to a different pulley groove, operators can change the rotational speed of the machine’s spindle.
- Adjustable speed: This feature allows for more versatility, as different speeds are required for different types of materials or operations. For example, a higher torque might be needed for threading, which requires a lower speed, while a faster speed is better for other operations.
